My name is Justine Steckling. I’m a poet and author. At 30-something, I have read hundreds of books and look forward to reading hundreds more. Book reviews are a hobby, but content should be updated regularly regardless.

I tend to read mysteries, thrillers, and horror books the most. I do try and mix it up every now and again with something outside my usual taste and be fair in my evaluation of it.

I’m resurrecting this site and focusing heavily on reviewing stories and poetry from independent, self-published authors. I am self-publishing myself, and appreciate every single blog that does something similar for the indie author community.

I do not accept ARCs for review at this time, as I am chronically and mentally ill and cannot commit to reading and reviewing in a timely fashion.
